Academic Support Programme
UPDATE: The most recent ASP Programme, with other information, can be found on our Intranet site.
It was Thomas Edison who said that "genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration." It is truly amazing what you can achieve when you decide to take control of your academic destiny by working hard. Whilst our educators cannot do the work for pupils, we are dedicated to supporting all our pupils to develop a culture of academic success at Beaulieu College.
For this reason, we offer support lessons for all subjects in the mornings and afternoon. These lessons serve two purposes: they are for both those who are weak at a particular section of work, and for those who are looking for academic extension. Days and times of support lessons in each subject are published on the College’s intranet (https://intranet.beaulieucollege.co.za/wiki/Academic_Support_Programme). Fixing problems timeously, before they cause further distress is sensible. We urge you to take advantage of these value-added lessons for which there is no extra charge.
"Hard work throws the spotlight on the character of people - some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses and some don't turn up at all" - Sam Ewing
Apart from this comprehensive programme, Beaulieu College makes use of ADAM in order to track learner performance and to identify potentially worrying trends before they become an issue.
