Academic Support Programme E-mail

UPDATE: The most recent ASP Programme, with other information, can be found on our Intranet site

It was Thomas Edison who said that "genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration." It is truly amazing what you can achieve when you decide to take control of your academic destiny by working hard. We can't do the work for you but we are dedicated to supporting you and developing a culture of academic success at Beaulieu College.

For this reason, we offer support lessons for all subjects nearly every afternoon. These lessons are for both those who are weak at a particular section of work and for those who are looking for academic extension. Fixing problems timeously before they cause further damage is sensible. We urge you to take advantage of these value-added lessons for which there is no extra charge.

Some basic requirements and courtesies need to be observed.

  • Please book your academic support lesson timeously (i.e. 24 hours before) and ensure that it does not clash with your extra mural commitments.

  • Arrive promptly. If you cannot meet your commitment it is your duty to excuse yourself.

  • Concentration in normal classes is important.

"Hard work throws the spotlight on the character of people - some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses and some don't turn up at all" - Sam Ewing

Apart from this comprehensive programme, Beaulieu College makes use of ADAM in order to track learner performance and to identify potentially worrying trends before they become an issue.
