Scholarships 2012:

A number of Scholarships are offered to talented pupils entering Grade 8 each year. These scholarships range in value up to 50% of the school tuition fees.

The following scholarships are made available at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee:-

Academic Scholarships
Cultural Scholarships (Music, Drama, Chess, Choir, Dancing or Visual Art etc)
Sport Scholarships (Hockey, cricket, netball, swimming, waterpolo, netball, equestrian, rugby,  squash, soccer, tennis.)

Criteria required to apply for the above scholarships:

Academic Scholarships:                                                                                                                                                  

Candidates must have achieved an aggregate of at least 80% or more in Primary school.
Applications for scholarships for the 2011 period is now officially closed.  We regret that we are not able to accept any late applications.

Cultural scholarship:
Music:  To qualify candidates need to play an instrument at Grade three level or be a member of a youth orchestra.

Drama/Choir or Art:  Candidates must have achieved at Gold or Diploma level at an Eisteddfod.
Dancing:  Candidates must be a member of a dance studio and have preferably participated in examinations and/or participated at Eisteddfod level.

Chess:  Candidates must have been selected as part of a provincial team.

Sports scholarship:

Requires candidates who represent a sport at Zone level, Prestige (Swimming), Provincial or 1st Team level. Sport of choice should fall within the sport offered at Beaulieu College.  Applications for scholarships for the 2011 period is now officially closed.  We regret that we are not able to accept any late applications.

Candidates attend the scholarship examinations or auditions by invitation only.
